Harsco RGH20C

The Harsco RGH20C switch and rail grinder, produced by Harsco Rail, is a specialized maintenance vehicle designed for precision grinding of railway switches and tracks. It primarily addresses short-wave irregularities (with wavelengths of 60mm-160mm) on the rail surface to ensure train safety, improve ride quality through turnouts, and extend the switch’s service life by eliminating defects like corrugations and shelling. Equipped with a total of 20 grinding heads (four large 280mm diameter wheels and sixteen smaller 152mm diameter wheels), it operates on two grinding cars and is engineered for efficient and safe maintenance operations in railway networks, including high-speed lines.
