Con el tiempo, las v\u00edas desarrollan defectos y da\u00f1os, mientras que las traviesas y el subsuelo se desgastan gradualmente. Por lo tanto, el mantenimiento peri\u00f3dico y de emergencia es esencial para garantizar la seguridad y la suavidad de las v\u00edas. Estos trabajos ayudan a prevenir posibles problemas y a resolver los existentes en el momento oportuno.
